A 6 session creativity course that will support your wellbeing and mental health
Creativity can support us view the world differently, it can help you to feel better about yourself and inspire you to create positive change.
Taking part in something creative enhances self-awareness, this 6 session course is delivered by Leann and SJ whom both have qualifications in mental health, counselling, creative expression, health and support both young people and adults in Gloucestershire.
Together as a group, we create 6 elements of the art of wellbeing course; connection, awareness, courage, trust, strength and acceptance.
These sessions increase a feeling of positive wellbeing, confidence, relaxation, and can alleviate symptoms of stress and physical or mental health conditions. Participating in creative change enables someone to re-engage with their everyday lives, encourages emotional regulation and a positive mindset. You do not need any previous experience in being creative, this course is facilitated in a non-judgemental and safe environment where you can explore your own perspective on each topic. We also encourage you to not judge yourself during the sessions as your work will evitably be different to anyone else's in the group as we encourage you to be authentic and uniquely you during the course.
The main elements of the course are connection, awareness, courage, trust, strength, and acceptance.
The course is for anyone aged 8 to 100! it aims to meet your individual needs, we will listen, inspire, motivate and empower you.
Transforming the way you see yourself and others around you in a safe welcoming environment and connecting with other like-minded people.
Available in groups of up to 8 people face to face or online.
